Art Deco style tube radio, TESLA "Talisman"


Tesla 'Talisman' model 308U, made in Czechoslovakia, production period 1953-1958The Art Deco style lingered into the '50-s in Czechoslovakia. This particular design is often nicknamed "The Bullet" or "The Streamliner". Bakelite cabinet, glass tuning dial. The 4-tube circuit was a Philips design and features SW/MW/LW reception. AC/DC 110 Volts / 220 Volts mains.This radio was made in three colours, brown, mottled brown, and dark red. Each colour can be found in different shades; ranging from almost black to bright burgundy red.
